1. Will this tape work at stopping slugs from coming in to my kitchen?
The best way to do this it have a strip of the tape at the entrance for the slugs (for example, the base of your door).
2. How long will this stay effective as a slug repellent?
Our tape usually lasts up to a year outside before it starts to loose its adhesion. If it remains stuck for longer with no sign of deterring your slugs, you can rejuvenate the conductivity by polishing off the tarnish with a wire brush or steel wool.
